  • Job description & client intake — how to build an effective profile survey, what questions to ask clients and why, and strategies to extract the musts vs. desirables from any opening.
  • Recruiting toolkit — practical use of the most common tools: ATS platforms, Slack and Discord for client and internal communication, Trello and Asana for process tracking, and Google Meet for remote interviews.
  • End-to-end recruiting process — a step-by-step breakdown of the full cycle, from sourcing and screening through to offer and feedback, including how IT recruiting differs from other industries.
  • First contact & outreach — how to approach active and passive candidates, channel selection, message personalization using first-degree data, what to say (and what not to), and examples of effective vs. ineffective messages.
  • LinkedIn sourcing mastery — filters, Boolean operators, X-Ray searches with country codes, invitation limits, strategies for non-Premium accounts, and how to organize sourcing for large-volume openings.
  • Advanced sourcing platforms — finding candidates on GitHub (repositories, forks, READMEs), Stack Overflow (tags, ratings, coded queries), and using NLP to break down complex job descriptions.
  • Pipeline management — what a pipeline is, the difference between cold, warm, and hot pipelines, inbound vs. outbound recruiting, and how to identify and match accurate profiles to an opening.
  • Interview & screening technique — questions covering experience, seniority, interests (stack alignment), studies, and motivation; plus how to read answers for signs of strong practices (e.g. Postman, SoapUI) and cultural fit.
  • Interview report & candidate presentation — what to include and why, how to tailor the report to the job description, using it as a sales tool, and why IT reports differ from those in other industries.
  • Salary handling & feedback — how to discuss expected vs. offered ranges with candidates, when and how to deliver feedback (including the feedback sandwich), and how to set realistic expectations around recruiter influence in hiring decisions.
