What we’re looking for:
We are looking for a Senior UI Engineer with strong visual judgment and a deep commitment to craft. This role focuses on building high-quality, accessible, and performant user interfaces with pixel-level precision. The ideal candidate cares deeply about design systems, interaction details, and translating design intent into polished, production-ready UI.
Responsibilities:
● Maintain and evolve a shared design system across design tools and front-end component libraries.
● Build and improve UI patterns, tooling, and infrastructure to increase consistency, quality, and development velocity.
● Partner closely with designers, product managers, and engineers to deliver high-fidelity, user-centered experiences.
● Champion accessibility, usability, and performance across products, helping define and uphold a high quality bar.
● Advocate for users by continuously iterating on and improving core product experiences.
● Collaborate on the evolution of component APIs, design system patterns, and UI workflows, with a strong focus on developer experience.
● Provide thoughtful, high-signal feedback through code reviews and design discussions.
Required:
● 5+ years of experience building production user interfaces for modern web applications.
● Strong command of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
● Hands-on experience with modern front-end frameworks, particularly React.
● Strong visual judgment, with attention to layout, typography, spacing, motion, and interaction states.
● Solid understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles.
● High attention to detail combined with pragmatic decision-making.
● Ability to think in systems and patterns rather than isolated components.
● Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
● English Level: Fluent (C1/C2) is mandatory.
● Reside in Buenos Aires or nearby.
● Occasional travel may be required for customer meetings or team events.
Preferred:
● Experience contributing to or maintaining design systems or component libraries at scale.
● Experience with UI animation, performance optimization, or advanced front-end tooling.
● Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and workflows.
