The role:
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in modernizing and reinventing the check-in experience for the company. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and engineers, to ensure alignment with business goals and user requirements. You will take ownership of complex software projects from inception to delivery, using your expertise in C#, .NET, Azure, CI/CD, and Kubernetes to build scalable and efficient applications.
You will be expected to perform code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and ensure the successful deployment of high-quality software in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key responsibilities:
● Backend Development: Design, develop, and maintain complex software applications, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and efficient code.
● Ownership: Lead projects, features, and modules from inception to delivery, driving them to successful completion.
● Solution-Oriented Mindset: Identify problems, propose innovative solutions, and work collaboratively to overcome challenges during development.
● Technology Expertise: Apply your knowledge in C#, .NET, Azure, CI/CD, and Kubernetes to optimize applications and meet business objectives.
● Highly Collaborative: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to align technical solutions with business needs.
● Code Review: Perform and participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality code, follow best practices, and mentor junior team members.
● Agile Development: Actively contribute to Agile practices, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
● Technical Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, ensuring it is accessible to th team.
● Mentorship: Provide guidance and knowledge sharing to junior team members to foster their growth.
● Work in a highly collaborative environment, sharing new ideas and best practices with the team.
● Work with a diverse, expert team of engineers, and you will have a lot of responsibility.
Requirements – Must have:
● Strong ability to communicate in English (Professional English proficiency)
● 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on full-stack development.
● Expertise in C#, .NET, Azure, CI/CD, and Kubernetes.
● Experience working with international clients.
● Proven track record of delivering high-quality software on time.
● Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
● Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
● Self-motivated and proactive in taking ownership of projects.
● A high degree of professionalism, flexibility, and ability to multi-task.
● Excellent communication skills and proven ability to collaborate with a variety of teams.
● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
Nice to have:
● Experience in developing airline-related systems.
● Experience with container orchestration and management tools like Kubernetes.
● Familiarity with DevOps practices and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP)
● Proven leadership experience and ability to mentor junior engineers.
