We are looking for a Data Engineer with strong experience in Databricks and cloud environments to build and maintain scalable, efficient data pipelines within AWS.

Responsibilities:
● Ingest, transform, and prepare raw data from diverse sources into a structured data lake.
● Build and maintain efficient and reliable data pipelines using Databricks, Python, and SQL.
● Operate within AWS environments to support scalable data engineering workflows.
● Work closely with BI/Analytics teams to ensure proper handoff of prepared datasets.
● Implement light data modeling to optimize data usability.
● Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity throughout the pipeline.
● Participate in code reviews, documentation, and process improvements.

Mandatory Requirements:
● Strong experience with Databricks (must-have).
● Python and SQL expertise.
● Experience working on AWS.

Requirements:
● 6+ years of experience in the role.
● Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related technical field.
● Proven education or certifications in data management and cloud.
● English required: B2 – C1.
● Databricks.
● AWS.

Nice to Have:
● Some experience with data modeling or prepping data for BI.
● Understanding of the handoff process to BI/Analytics teams.

Not Required:
● Tableau or heavy visualization skills.
● Building everything custom from scratch.

● Ability to communicate complicated technical problems to both technical and business audiences.
● Ability to quickly understand business objectives and to recognize and capitalize on data driven solutions.
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
