What we’re looking for:
We are looking for a hands-on Data Migration Consultant who will play a key role in onboarding projects by handling data manipulation and configuration. This person will act as an internal data migration expert, owning and continuously improving tooling and processes for importing customer data into the platform. Will collaborate with implementation consultants and clients to ensure smooth data onboarding, from subscription and component setup to historical transaction import.
Responsibilities:
● Act as a data migration expert; procuring, developing, and maintaining data migration tools, templates, and processes. Own the success of new and existing customers’ data migration projects.
● Own data migration as a “product”, maintaining a roadmap for tooling and continuously expanding our migration service catalog (e.g., packages for specific competitor systems, acquisition integrations).
● Help clients format and import data such as subscriptions, components, coupons, and transaction history into the platform.
● Leverage internal tools and APIs to manipulate and cleanse large data sets. Enable and train team members on data migration best practices.
● Collaborate with CEOs, CFOs, and accounting teams to achieve business outcomes.
● Deliver product expertise and guide customers on best practices in revenue recognition, invoicing, payments, and analytics (training provided).
● Drive customer accountability to meet onboarding timelines.
● Partner with management to refine and improve onboarding processes.
Requirements:
● 4+ years of experience manipulating and cleansing large volumes of data.
● 2+ years in a customer-facing, account management, or implementation role at a SaaS company.
● 2+ years of experience managing customer data migrations (implementations, upgrades, reorganizations).
● Strong experience working with APIs, ETLs, importer tools, cron jobs, or FTP.
● Advanced Excel skills and experience using Google Sheets or Smartsheet for collaboration.
● Experience with integrating workflows across multiple B2B SaaS products.
● Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
● Strong project management, organization, time management, and communication skills.
● Ability to work on multiple projects in parallel and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
● English Level: Fluent (C1/C2) is mandatory.
● Reside in Buenos Aires or nearby.
● Occasional travel may be required for customer meetings or team events.
Nice to have:
● Background in accounting or finance in a recurring revenue business.
● Experience in implementing B2B SaaS solutions.
● Exposure to software development or product customization processes.
