The role:
The Level III Technician’s role is to ensure system operation and functionality so that end users can accomplish business tasks. The Level III Technician will serve as the final point of escalation to resolve complex technical issues including, if necessary, making recommendations to clients to leverage technology to replace outdated or problematic systems.
Level III Technicians are expected to display good interpersonal skills as they will interact with colleagues from various departments, executive levels, and clients daily.
The Level III Technician works jointly with the sales team to provide pre-sales and post sales support, including tasks such as discovery meetings, site surveys, proposals, and presentations on technical assessments, implementations, and ongoing technical account management.

Responsibilities:
● Configure install, maintain, and troubleshoot servers, firewalls, switches, and laptops.
● Coordinate over the phone and in writing with management staff as well as VIPs at client offices to provide excellent client service in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
● Troubleshoot network configurations involving firewalls, routers, switches, wireless access points, site to site VPN, MPLS, and SDWAN.
● Reliably and efficiently manage and execute projects from initial quoting through completion.
● Resolve escalations and assist Level 1 and Level 2 technicians with various tasks, as needed.
● Work efficiently and assertively with hardware and software vendors to achieve solutions and take initiative when following up.
● Provisioning and system setup for new hires.
● Use remote tools and diagnostic utilities to aid in resolving support requests.
● Server administration via Active Directory, File & Print services, DNS, DHCP.
● Establishing good relationships with all departments and colleagues.
● Ensuring company safety and security standards are met.
● Some network and server solution design and architecture.

Requirements:
● College diploma or university degree in the field of Computer Science and/or 5 years equivalent work experience.
● 3+ years of Managed Service Provider experience strongly preferred.
● Experience with desktop and server operating systems including Windows 10, Windows 11, Server 2012, Server 2016, Server 2019, and Mac OS.
● Office 365 and Azure administration experience.
● Deep experience troubleshooting an Azure environment using FSLogix is a must for this position.
● Some knowledge and understating of networking devices and appliances.
● CCNA and/or MCSE preferred.
● Achieved a minimum of three vendor specific certifications.
