The role:
You will work directly with the owner/CEO to develop new business relationships. This business development role will be approximately half of your time. The other half will be playing an account management role. For a group of clients, your job will be to ensure client satisfaction/retention and provide additional projects/products/services. You will facilitate and, in some cases, lead quarterly meetings with clients. You will be the client’s primary point of contact, ensuring our service delivery meets their needs. Your job is to direct the resources of our company to serve the client best.
The most important skill for both roles is world class follow up and communication (verbal and written). If you are world-class at managing your to do list, replying promptly to emails, and following up with commitments, then you may be ideal for this role!
Responsibilities:
● Client retention and client satisfaction.
● Preparation of proposals/quotes and acceptance of orders from clients.
● Expand the managed services spend within the client base.
● Works with account managers and clients directly to create quotes.
● Maintain detailed documentation of all account activity in the CRM systems.
Qualifications:
● Energetic individuals with go-getter attitudes who are self-motivated, team players, and have a drive for high achievement.
● In-depth knowledge of the managed solutions and product stack that are available to the client.
● Experience with a Managed Services Provider (MSP) company is strongly preferred.
● Ability to effectively communicate with business owners and executive leadership in a meaningful way and with confidence while developing lasting business relationships.
● Able to identify quality vendors/suppliers and develop partnerships with a focus on getting the best products at the best prices.
● Great at working with and collaborating as part of a team and with other departments on a continuous basis.
Credentials and Experience:
● A minimum of one year of related job/role experience is required.
● Have three years or more experience in inside sales or outside sales in a B2B environment (preferably an IT Services company or MSP) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
● An Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant industry is a plus, but not a requirement.
