The role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Pre-Sales Consultant with deep expertise in Information Technology (IT) and Cloud Services to drive technical sales engagements, design tailored solutions, and support our enterprise sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP), infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS), platform-as-a-service (PaaS), and hybrid/multi-cloud environments, along with exceptional communication and presentation skills.
Key Responsibilities:
● Technical Solutioning & Consulting.
● Act as a trusted advisor to prospective clients, understanding their business needs and translating them into cloud-based IT solutions.
● Design and present high-level architectures, proof-of-concepts (PoCs), and demos showcasing cloud migration, modernization, and optimization strategies.
● Collaborate with product and engineering teams to align solutions with customer requirements.
● Develop technical proposals, RFP/RFI responses, and ROI analyses for cloud services.
Pre-Sales Support:
● Partner with the sales team to identify and qualify opportunities, providing technical expertise throughout the sales cycle.
● Conduct discovery sessions, workshops, and whiteboarding discussions with C-level executives, IT leaders, and technical teams.
● Deliver compelling presentations, product demonstrations, and competitive differentiators.
● Address technical objections and position solutions against competitors (e.g., AWS vs. Azure vs. GCP).
Industry & Market Expertise:
● Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies (serverless, Kubernetes, DevOps, AI/ML integrations, security, and FinOps).
● Provide thought leadership through whitepapers, webinars, and industry events.
● Understand regulatory and compliance considerations (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2) in cloud deployments.
Required:
● 5+ years in a pre-sales, solutions engineering, or technical consulting role in IT/cloud services.
● Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) with relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Expert).
● Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure, networking, security, and DevOps practices.
● Proven ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non- technical audiences.
● Experience with enterprise IT landscapes (legacy systems, hybrid cloud, digital transformation).
● Fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken).
Preferred:
● Background in managed services, consulting, or SaaS/PaaS solutions.
● Familiarity with automation tools (Terraform, Ansible) and CI/CD pipelines.
● Experience in industries like finance, healthcare, education, retail, oil & gas, transport, logistics, manufacturing or telecom with cloud adoption challenges.
