We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ION Implementation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands on experience implementing and supporting ION Group products, such as RightAngle, TriplePoint, or platforms like Aspect and Endur. This role will be integral in driving the successful deployment, customization, and optimization of these platforms to meet our business needs in the energy trading, risk management, and financial sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
Implementation & Deployment:
● Lead and execute the implementation of ION products, including RightAngle, TriplePoint, or platforms like Aspect, or Endur, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines.
● Configure and customize solutions to meet specific client or organizational requirements.
● Develop and execute project plans, timelines, and deliverables for platform deployment.
Technical Expertise:
● Serve as the technical SME for ION platforms, providing insights on best practices, system architecture, and configuration.
● Design and optimize workflows, data integrations, and reporting capabilities within the platforms.
● Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to platform performance, integrations, or functionality.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
● Partner with cross-functional teams, including IT, trading, risk management, and finance, to gather requirements and ensure successful solution delivery.
● Conduct workshops and training sessions for end-users to ensure smooth adoption and optimal use of the platform.
● Liaise with ION support teams and third-party vendors for ongoing maintenance and updates.
Documentation & Reporting:
● Create detailed documentation for platform configurations, processes, and user guides.
● Provide regular status updates, reports, and recommendations to stakeholders on project progress and system performance.
Requirements:
● Minimum 2+ years of experience implementing or supporting ION Group products, such as RightAngle, TriplePoint or platforms like Aspect, or Endur.
● Strong knowledge of energy/commodity trading and risk management systems (ETRM/CTRM)
● Experience with system integration, data migration, and configuration of trading platforms.
● Proficiency in SQL, scripting, and working with APIs for data interfacing and reporting.
● Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering scalable and efficient solutions.
● English level: Fluent.
Preferred Skills:
● Familiarity with trading and risk management workflows for energy, commodities, or financial services industries.
● Knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) and their integration with ION platforms.
● Certifications in relevant ION products or technologies are a plus.
