The primary technical requirement for this role is deep expertise in architecting and managing solutions within Microsoft Fabric and the Microsoft Power Platform suite. The Senior Data Engineer will design, deploy, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines, relational databases, business intelligence dashboards, and automated workflows. Serving as the central technical authority for digitizing business processes across multiple departments, the candidate must possess a great knowledge of English and superb communication skills to effectively translate business requirements into secure, modern cloud architectures. This role als involves transitioning legacy on-premise data structures to Azure while ensuring optimal database performance and strict access governance.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Engineering & Microsoft Fabric Architecture:
● Architect and manage secure data pipelines facilitating on-premise to Azure cloud migrations. Oversee automated data ingestion processes and establish robust data modeling layers integrated with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
Business Intelligence (Power BI):
● Develop and maintain enterprise-grade Power BI dashboards. Configure secure internal and external access, managing workspace publishing, row-level security, and ongoing data transformations.
Database Administration:
● Configure and maintain relational databases supporting operational software backends. Manage capacity, triggers, permissions, and develop automated SQL maintenance routines to optimize query performance.
Power Platform:
● Digitize manual business processes utilizing Microsoft Power Automate. Build internal enterprise applications utilizing Microsoft Power Apps and deploy external-facing organizational portals via Microsoft Power Pages.
Infrastructure Support & Communication:
● Leverage superb communication skills to gather technical requirements, interface with stakeholders, and provide clear documentation. Manage administrative data engineering support queues, access requests, and systemic infrastructure upgrades.
