Roles Objectives:
Assist the Senior Analyst in managing Licensing Contracts for Latin America:
● Ensure compliance with established deadlines: Status of Contracts in Process and Upcoming Expirations, Pending Royalty Reports, Billing of other transactions (Advances, Guarantees, Fees). Notify relevant teams of any issues, delays, lack of responses, etc.
● Support adherence to current policies regarding Minimum Guarantees per contract, Frequency of Royalty Reports, and Consolidation of contracts for the same Licensee.
● Understand and be able to propose different exception cases. Focus on Efficiency Culture.
● Approve/Review the correct setup of contracts in the Deal Approval System, ensuring they comply with established policies, meet regional requirements, and align with system parameters. Also, comply with SLA standards regarding review, feedback, and follow-up of these contracts. Follow up with other approvers in the process.
● Communicate current or potential future issues in a timely and appropriate manner, alerting Management, Licensees, and relevant Teams. Build and maintain strong working relationships with Category Managers, Local Finance, Licensees, Audit, Legal, and ILS.
● Provide support to the Regional Licensing Team, Finance, and Credit & Collections, with a high level of service:
– Understanding their needs and working as a team to develop better processes and reports.
– Proposing improvements to existing processes.
– Raising awareness of the importance of renewing contracts on time and the impact of generating a high volume of amendments. Propose solutions to ensure all contracts are signed before their start date.
– Collaborate with local teams to deeply understand the business justifications for contracts that do not comply with the current Minimum Guarantee policies for the territory.
– Training: Focus on training both within the team (actively participating in updating training materials, presenting specific topics) and with Category Managers and Licensees.
Requirements:
● 2 – 3 years of experience in the role.
● Education: Graduate in Business Administration or related fields.
● Languages: Advanced English. Knowledge of Portuguese is a plus.
● Systems: Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
