This is a senior, hands-on principal role and the work is predominantly Azure. You will report to the director of IT work closely with enterprise architecture, platform engineering, security, and DevOps teams to modernize legacy infrastructure, harden production reliability, and build the automation and governance needed to support the company\u2019s continued growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25cf Lead a migration to Auth0 to improve user authentication and onboarding.
\u25cf Evolve our event-driven messaging infrastructure (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
\u25cf Make pragmatic, evidence-based decisions about cloud platform choices \u2014 particularly as GPU availability and AI\/ML workload demands continue to evolve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u25cf 7+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, cloud architecture, or platform engineering.
\u25cf 4+ years of Azure experience.
\u25cf Strong command of networking fundamentals in cloud environments: DNS architecture, load balancing, CDN configuration, firewall policy, and Kubernetes network policies across Azure and AWS.
\u25cf Solid security practices across infrastructure: IAM, secrets management, network segmentation, encryption, and compliance considerations relevant to financial services.
\u25cf Proficiency in Terraform and IaC at scale; experience operating mixed environments including managed Kubernetes (EKS\/AKS), containers, and VMs.
\u25cf Hands-on disaster recovery planning and testing \u2014 defining, documenting, and validating RTOs and RPOs for critical production systems.
\u25cf Familiarity with compiled application languages (C#, Java, or Go) sufficient to understand application infrastructure requirements and collaborate effectively with development teams.
\u25cf Experience contributing to M&A integration efforts \u2014 evaluating acquired infrastructure, identifying risks, and supporting technology consolidation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u25cf Experience with Auth0 or comparable modern identity providers, particularly leading an auth platform migration.
\u25cf Familiarity with event-driven messaging systems such as Kafka and RabbitMQ.
\u25cf Ability to coach and upskill engineers on infrastructure best practices without formal management responsibility.
\u25cf Experience introducing AI-assisted tooling into infrastructure or platform engineering workflows.
\u25cf SOC level 1 adoption.
\u25cf AWS experience.
\u25cf CI\/CD pipeline experience with GitHub Actions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u25cf Bachelor\u2019s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
\u25cf Excellent written communication skills \u2014 precise, well-structured technical documentation and architectural proposals; comfortable presenting to both engineering and business audiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
