We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer (7+ years of experience) to take ownership of the company’s frontend experience across web and mobile applications. This is a priority-zero hire and an immediate need.
This role goes far beyond implementation. You will be expected to think like a product engineer, collaborate deeply with UX/UI, and make technical decisions that directly impact performance, scalability, and user trust, especially in a financial context.
Key Responsibilities:
● Build and maintain high-performance, pixel-perfect user interfaces using React and React Native.
● Translate high-fidelity Figma designs into reusable, scalable frontend components without losing design intent.
● Collaborate closely with Product Owners and Designers to iterate on UX flows and customer journeys.
● Design and maintain a reusable component library / design system to ensure UI consistency as the product scales.
● Optimize frontend performance, especially for animation-heavy and real-time UI components.
● Implement micro-interactions and animations using tools like Framer Motion and React Native Reanimated.
● Ensure accessibility (a11y) compliance, including screen reader support.
● Write and maintain unit and integration tests to prevent regressions.
● Participate in architectural discussions and propose trade-offs between design ambition and technical feasibility.
● Communicate proactively about risks, constraints, and opportunities.
Required Skills:
Core Technical Skills:
● 7+ years of professional frontend development experience.
● Strong expertise in React & React Native.
● Deep understanding of TypeScript, frontend architecture, and scalable patterns.
● Solid experience with:
– State management (Redux, Zustand, Context API)
– Navigation libraries (React Navigation)
– Sharing logic between web and mobile.
● Performance optimization:
– Understanding render cycles and re-render prevention.
– Experience profiling and fixing performance bottlenecks.
● Animation & UI polish:
– Framer Motion.
– React Native Reanimated.
● Testing:
– Jest and/or Cypress.
– Accessibility (a11y) best practices.
Product & Communication Skills:
● Strong product thinking: understands how frontend decisions impact user trust and business outcomes.
● Clear, proactive communication with Product and Design.
● Ability to challenge requirements constructively when performance or UX is at risk.
Nice to Have:
● Experience deploying apps to App Store and Google Play.
● Experience with Three.js or high-performance rendering libraries.
● Previous work on financial or high-trust consumer applications.
