We are looking for a Data Analyst – ServiceNow CMDB.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Integrity & Validation:
● Validate the consistency and integrity of data across multiple sources: Completion Notices, Service Inventory, Flow Manager, and SAS.
● Identify discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions to maintain data accuracy.
CMDB Management (ServiceNow):
● Configure and upload client data-sets into ServiceNow CMDB.
● Perform corrections, normalization, and data-cleanup in ServiceNow to ensure alignment with operational standards.
● Support issue resolution and troubleshooting related to CMDB data quality and configuration.
E-Bonding & Integration Support:
● Participate in workshops and support the definition of field-mapping for e-bonding workflows.
● Collaborate with teams to define field-mapping for integrations with proactive alarm and monitoring platforms.
● Execute testing of integrations, validate end-to-end data flows, and support adjustments required for proper operation.
Reporting & Analytics:
● Generate and deliver recurring analytical reports to customers using data sources such as ServiceNow, Zabbix, and Grafana.
● Prepare operational dashboards and insights to support service performance reviews.
Operational Support Tasks (Platform Life-Cycle):
● Assist in the review, troubleshooting, and resolution of issues affecting the ServiceNow CMDB and related datasets.
● Participate in planning, executing, and validating data during platform upgrades, migrations, and enhancement activities.
● Maintain and update authorized contact lists for each customer related to incident and change management.
● Maintain ServiceNow Knowledge Base articles used to support GNOC operational processes.
● Conduct periodic audits related to internal and external user access and compliance guidelines.
● Prepare reports analyzing efficiency, productivity, and KPIs for employees, teams, and the GNOC business unit.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineer, Information Technology, or related field.
● Experience with ServiceNow CMDB, monitoring tools, and data management processes.
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
● Proficiency with Excel, SQL, data visualization tools (Grafana, Power BI), and reporting.
● Experience working with GNOC, NOC/SOC, or Managed Services operations (preferred).
● Ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
● Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is required.
