We are looking for an AI/ML Engineer.
Key Responsibilities:
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
● Partner with Product teams to implement model changes, performance optimizations, and feature enhancements based on business requirements.
● Conduct model tuning sessions with Product stakeholders to align AI capabilities with user experience goals.
● Engage with various stakeholders to gather specifications, define technical requirements, and establish project scope for AI/ML initiatives.
● Facilitate requirement-setting sessions with business teams to translate functional needs into technical AI/ML solutions.
Technical Development & Production:
● Collaborate closely with Senior Data Scientists to transition experimental model prototypes into robust, production-ready systems.
● Participate in code reviews and technical discussions to ensure models meet scalability, performance, and reliability standards.
● Support the productionization process including model deployment, monitoring, and maintenance workflows.
Core AI & Machine Learning Skills:
AI Fundamentals:
● Proficiency in basic prompt engineering techniques and best practices for optimizing AI model interactions.
● Experience with Large Language Model (LLM) API integration and usage across various platforms.
● Hands-on experience with model finetuning processes to adapt pre-trained models for specific use cases.
● Knowledge of model distillation techniques to create efficient, lightweight models from larger architectures.
Natural Language Processing:
● Working knowledge of embedding models and their applications in text analysis
● Experience implementing semantic analysis solutions for content understanding and similarity matching.
● Proficiency in batch processing workflows for large-scale NLP tasks and data pipeline management.
Data Science & Analytics:
Statistical Foundation:
● Solid understanding of hypothesis testing methodologies and statistical significance evaluation.
● Experience with regression analysis techniques for predictive modeling and trend analysis.
● Knowledge of classification algorithms and their appropriate use cases.
● Familiarity with decision tree models, including implementation and interpretation.
Programming Languages:
● Must have: Proficiency in Python for data science, machine learning, and automation tasks.
● Nice to have: Working knowledge of Ruby for web development and scripting applications.
Infrastructure & Data Management:
● Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud platform and core services.
● Basic database management skills including query optimization and data modeling.
● Understanding of software engineering principles including version control, testing, and deployment practices.
Experience Level:
This role is suitable for candidates with 2-4 years of relevant experience or new graduates with strong academic background and demonstrated project experience in AI/ML applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
● Portfolio of projects demonstrating practical application of the above technologies.
● Experience working in collaborative development environments.
● Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
● Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
